Open Woodlands with Paths and Ancient Trees
An expansive woodland with ancient trees, winding paths and open areas, offering a naturally atmospheric setting for film, television, commercial and photography productions. A mixture of mature oak and hornbeam creates a varied woodland environment, with paths eventually opening onto views across rolling fields.
About this location
This collection of open woodland provides a versatile natural filming environment, combining mature trees, woodland paths and changing landscape views within one location.
The woodland is characterised by established oak and hornbeam trees, creating a strong sense of age and permanence while allowing natural light to filter through the canopy. The mixture of open woodland and denser areas provides varied visual opportunities, from intimate tree-lined scenes to wider sequences following the paths through the landscape.
A network of paths runs through the woodland, offering natural routes for walking, running, cycling and vehicle-based sequences. As the paths progress through the trees, the woodland eventually opens out to reveal views across rolling fields, providing a useful transition from enclosed woodland to open countryside within the same location.
The woodland also benefits from nearby on-site parking, props storage and permitted drone use, providing practical flexibility for production teams. Multiple woodland and countryside sites are available across the wider estate, allowing productions to create complementary looks within close proximity.
