Luxury Dog Food Product Launch

When Arden Grange, a luxury dog food brand, began planning the launch of its newest product, the creative direction was clear. To match their country aesthetic and British heritage ethos, they were on the hunt for a setting that reflected the same feel and offered the premium look as the product did itself.

The chosen backdrop for this launch campaign was one of our home-style locations, #LOC116. A converted Georgian Manor set amongst traditional Walled Gardens in the Hertfordshire countryside, complete with exterior beauty, character features and production-friendly layout. This house and its surroundings offered the perfect balance of scenery and practicality.

A versatile Georgian manor designed for commercial shoots

Nestled within the parks Walled Gardens, this four-bedroom property combines hints of character and period features with a versatile and easy access interior.

Architectural Style and Character

This property reflects classic Georgian design, with a symmetrical exterior look, sash windows and nods to its period throughout. Inside, classic fireplaces, large rooms and lots of natural light create an open and elegant atmosphere, perfect for bright scenes and product shots.

Exterior and Surroundings

The blooming Walled Gardens and open parklands surrounding this property became a set in themselves. Gravel paths, woodlands and small nooks in the gardens provided the perfect locations for staging dog walks and moments in the outdoors.

For Arden Grange, the location provided visual variety without the need to move sites, helping maintain creative momentum throughout the day.

Coordination and Support

Working with animals requires careful coordination and adaptability. Our priority was to ensure the crew had the space, access and support needed to work efficiently and safely throughout the day.

This property provided spacious rooms, easy access points and secure outdoor areas, ideal for an animal/stunt-led campaign.

Challenges and Adaptability

As with any live production, there were naturally some unexpected moments. During the shoot, an influx of ladybirds made an appearance inside the house. Our team acted quickly and professionally to resolve the issue, ensuring minimal disruption and allowing the production to stay focused and on schedule.

Throughout the day, the Arden Grange team made full use of the houses character features and surrounding gardens. Using fireplace backdrops, gateways, floral backdrop and more to capture the full extent of the brief.

With coordinated access, clear communication and our on-site support, this shoot ran smoothly from enquiry to wrap.
